What if you are just starting out and don't know what to prefer in a company? For example, I'm not sure if I would like to work in a big company or a smaller one. How do I figure this out? Also, what is a good way to figure out which companies are hiring juniors. Almost everywhere I look, the jobs posted are for seniors/leads/managers. Thanks!
You can find companies that have hired juniors by finding people in the roles you want through Linkedin Search and looking at the companies you are working at. Another strategy to find companies is to look for companies in the domain you used to be in (ex. education, finance etc) - this translates to edtech companies or fintech companies etc.
even if roles are NOT junior, if you build relationship with the hiring managers through Linkedin chat and connection calls, you can be considered for roles down the line.
