After making this Linkedin post, the podcast founder reached out to Aaron, inviting him into a niche community for people excited about the legal tech space. This opportunity led him to connect with a founder who was looking to add engineers to his team.

The Job Offer 🎉

Aaron connected with a startup founder who was launching a legal tech startup and looking for a new engineer to join the team. The founder was excited to connect with Aaron precisely because of Aaron’s unique combination of skills; a background in law with a skillset in software engineering.

Once Aaron chatted with the startup founder, he was moved into the next round to meet other engineers on the team. The meeting went so well, he talked with the engineering team for two hours.

Turns out, his background as a former lawyer was a huge asset to a company that wants to create a product aimed at lawyers!

After meeting the Founder and a technical interview with the engineering team, Aaron got the offer for Fullstack Software Engineer. 🎊
